Selling of the Chametz

During the week of Passover, it is forbidden, according to Jewish tradition, to eat chametz or even to own the chametz that has been put away in your home. Therefore, we annually observe the custom of Mechirat Chametz, selling the chametz to someone who is not bound by Jewish law. If you would like to have Rabbi Harris sell your chametz, please complete this form so that it is received by 9:00 am on Wednesday, April 1.

Finish eating your chametz by 10:50 am and sell and burn it before noon on Wednesday, April 1. Passover ends and chametz is allowed again at 7:45 pm on Thursday, April 9.
